1. What we refer

On request we name firms that provide services we do not offer ourselves. We point you to the opportunity, nothing more. Any consulting, work or service contract comes about solely between you and the firm.

2. Free for you

You pay us nothing for the referral, neither a fee nor a markup. No obligation arises, and you are at no point required to engage a firm we suggest.

3. Our compensation

If a contract comes about between you and a referred firm, that firm pays us a commission of normally 15 percent of the net fee you pay for the referred service, limited to the first twelve months of the engagement. Our partners commit contractually not to raise their fee because of this commission. Different rates apply in individual cases; on request we tell you the rate that applies to yours.

4. How we select

What counts is field of expertise, sector experience, region, free capacity and feedback from earlier referrals. The size of the commission is not a selection or ranking criterion. We normally suggest several firms and give a reason for each.

5. Not a complete market view

Our list is a selection of firms we work with, not an overview of the market. There are suitable providers that are not on it.

6. Liability

We are not liable for the work of the referred firm. We owe neither the success of a referral nor any particular quality of the service. For the referral itself we are liable under the statutory rules for intent and gross negligence and for injury to life, body or health; otherwise, for breach of material contractual duties, limited to the foreseeable damage typical for this kind of contract.

7. Not a legal service

We do not provide legal services within the meaning of the German Legal Services Act (Rechtsdienstleistungsgesetz). Our guidance on NIS 2 and BSIG is not legal advice and does not replace it.

8. Your data

Without your explicit consent we pass no personal data to a firm. If you give it, we transmit name, company, contact details and the request you described. The firm is an independent controller for that data. You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future, informally to contact@nisd2.eu. Details are in our privacy policy.

9. Complaints

If a referral goes badly, write to us. We follow it up and take firms off the list where it happens repeatedly.

10. Changes

These terms apply in the version published at the time of your request.
